Brown and Gold opened its doors in 1995. It all began with Casey and Dodi Campbell, who started an embroidery and screen printing business that served the local Laramie community. Matt Lehning began managing Brown and Gold in 2000, and in 2017, he and his wife Nicole purchased the store. Over the years, Brown and Gold has steadily grown, making its way into the hearts and homes of thousands of Wyoming fans across the country.
